Briar is simply a magician with a passion. Briar enlarged a very valuable photo of my father who is no longer with us.She does wonderful work with so much detail and empathy and I could not be more grateful.

Briar is very skilled and creative. She took great care to create digital copies of a number of my very old mini-tapes, edit out all of the blue sky and shoe scenes and was a great communicator throughout the process. I now have fantastic memories of my children and key events at my fingertips! I've already recommended Words and Designs to a number of my friends.

Clive’s wonderful book seems to become even more topical as 2022 rolls on. The social and political themes that it explores with reference to Aotearoa New Zealand are ones which for me at least are more important than what an inspirational female leader chooses to do privately with her friends one evening (ie the great Finnish PM).Clive’s book comprehensively discusses elements clearly in a way which allows readers to see a potentially more inclusively diverse way to be.I enjoyed the book very much and have returned to it several times. For me, it was as informative as it was helpful, to remind me that the doom and gloom in the world is not necessarily inevitable.Nick Holmes, Otepoti Aotearoa New Zealand

Briar scanned and restored some very old (circa 1910) family photos. Her work was amazing, she was very quick, not that pricey and she was lovely to engage with. Would highly recommend her. The photo's were of my Grandmother, her son and daughter (my Aunt and Uncle) were very pleased to be offered images of their mother. It is amazing what can be recovered.

Clive Elliott’s The Power of Wellbeing is a universally important contribution to the fertile middle-ground of consensus thinking. Written against the excellent background of New Zealand’s high-function democratic value system, Elliott has put firmly in the public domain his societies constructive search for inclusivity in a culturally diverse country. This chimes with a rapid redevelopment of the liberal democratic narrative that is rapidly emerging world-wide as an antidote to populist and extremist politics.Reading the book introduced me to the hard work required in developing a functionally inclusive New Zealand society. By entering this noble struggle into the written record Elliott makes real the process of altruism as a specific lo selected policy. This alone is of immense importance in a world where extremists have been able to poison the global discourse.Elliot is to be congratulated for this excellent literary endeavour. It is of great importance in the growing body of solution-seeking in the rational middle of global politics

This superb book – broad in its scope and perceptive in its insights – offers new ways of imagining and achieving social cohesion. Its relevance has only increased since the onset of the Covid pandemic, with its prescriptions for re-evaluating social institutions now more pressing than ever. The Power of Wellbeing outlines a model for a better and fairer society, and makes a compelling case for how this vision can be achieved.

I know Clive personally and he is a magnificent person. He has genuine interests in the upliftment and wellbeing of all humans. I love his ideas about having one conversation at a time. Of deciding what information is fact and allowing everyone to have an opinion but not having to always agree. If we all try harder to relate to our neighbours we will have a better world. A GREAT read!

I have throughly enjoyed reading Clive Elliott's book, 'The Power of Wellbeing'. Well researched and beautifully written, it helps the reader makes sense of the problems affecting the world while offering solutions as to how to bring about positive change in society. Highly relevant and recommended.
