Was happy with my experience here. Lady at counter was friendly enough when I chatted with them! Prices aren't exactly supermarket prices, but you can't expect that from a liquor store on K Rd. Reasonable enough all things considered. And some of the more negative commenters should perhaps try what it's like running a late-night retail shop in central Auckland before getting snarky about owners being rude or on edge about theft.

Def worth stopping in, even just to see what's there for future. reference.. Then you can shop online. Fantastic selection of Whiskey wine and gin, amongst other alcoholic beverages and great quality mixers. Loads of things you can treat yourself with or put together for a fancy gift. Surprisingly, the prices aren't to bad - talk about a one stop shop.Look forward to going back!

As I was a visitor to Htown I didn’t know where any bottle stores were, I had a small list of booze to buy and by chance drove by the Thirsty Liquor store and called in with relief. Even though it is a smaller store it stocked everything I was looking for at decent prices :-) overall great experience

Amazing choices of Alcohol and are always open till 11pm at night.. What a great place to shop.. Opens at midday everday.. Awesome people work here.. Such a great bunch of dudes and ladies always have a good conversation an share a few jokes..
