It’s a real shame and loss to both the local and national economy and job scene seeing this place close down, really unfortunate. The refinery was a useful and reliable asset to New Zealand.

Marsden Point Oil Refinery
A must do for anyone interested in this sort of thing. Its becoming much harder to find these information centers. Great model, and very informative display. Only 10 minutes off the State Highway, with a great Cafe next door. Best of all, its free!
