Was here giving plasma.takes about an hour.The staff are very friendly and helpful.There is free WiFi so you can do stuff online while they take your blood, plasma or platelets.They also provide a drink(coffee, tea, water, or juice) and biscuits.There is a selection of magazines if you wish to readOr watch tvWhen you finish you need wait ten minutes so another drink and biscuits is recommended

NZ Blood Service Hamilton
Today was my 5th donation, two blood ones and three plasmas. This is an awesome service provider of blood components, with well trained nurses among other professionals. Staff is kind and make us feel comfortable and safe. Food and drinks are served during the donation. WiFi is complimentary and easy to access. Glad to help the community and will keep coming regularly.

The staff at the Wellington branch are always super friendly and courteous. On every donation visit, I’ve been made to feel welcome and comfortable. The blood technicians and staff all go above and beyond in their service of duty, it’s an absolute pleasure being able to return to play our small part.

Though a smaller donor center (when compared with Epsom), they have a great team! The staff are very sweet/caring and they made me comfortable during my plasma donation with cookies and juice. They regularly updated me with status of my donation.
