Huntly River Carpark
Good place just off the main road to let the kids and dogs out for a bit of fresh air and a run. Have your lunch by the river, then straight back out to highway 1 to continue your travels.

Deepwater Basin Parking&Bus
I write this message to confirm that we tried today ( Mai 2023) this parking and it is really ok. The sign ( see the picture) is showing through where you have to pass. Regarding the time it takes - 15 min up to the paid parking and + 10-15 min to the terminal. So in total you have to count 20-30 minutes. I saw on other messages 10 minutes - it is impossible..so do not hesitate, the walk is kind of fun also..

A nice little rest spot with ocean views.Only 3 freedom camping spaces. It was surprisingly quiet considering it’s next to the road. Very close walk to main centre.
