Rosie O'Grady's Taradale
Classic Irish pub with a touch of Art Deco (compulsory in Napier, the Art Deco Capital). I had my favourite Guinness and a very tasty Guinness Beef Cheek, beef cheek braised with a rich Guinness gravy and sides. Well priced, the service is careful and very nice. Recommended!

Grace O'Malley's Irish Inn Whitianga
Good food. I enjoyed the vegetarian stuffed capsicum, it was a bit different to the usual vegetarian dishes. They serve generous size meals. Staff were friendly. It was a bit noisy, although there was a big group.

Dicey Reillys Pub and Eatery
I’ve eaten here a couple times now and everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. Everything is made to order and tastes so fresh. The people here are super friendly, definitely recommend coming here. It’s a nice place to have dinner with the family!

Murphys Law Irish Bar
I go there every 3 months or so & have not been disappointed once. The atmosphere is convivial, not intrusive but adds to the experience. The food is pretty good for pub fare, not high end restaurant for sure, but better than what I can do & better than what a lot of other places serve.I most definitely recommend this establishment.

The Bog
Great service and everyone was really friendly, the food is amazing definitely recommend!!! We went on a busy night with the rugby on, it didn't effect the speed of the food service and the staff took great care of us. I highly recommend this place!

Generous servings of Ribs and chips and my portion of chicken parmigiana.. huge lunch meal..!Very tastyHowever, when i asked for a cup of tea to have with our meal.. only could offer a glass of cold water..thats a bit disappointing.. especially when we dont consume alcohol or soft drinks..

Rosie O'Grady's Taradale
Our local pub was closed due to staff shortage so we ventured further afield to Taradale & was very surprised to have great food and great service. It’s not often you get both. The salt & pepper calamari was highly rated along with all the burgers, we will definitely be back n the hope of a repeat experience. Thanks for a great family night out.

Come up from Chch. Had a wonderful dinner with my wife and friend. Premo food the prawn cheese and bacon were amazeballs along with chicken nibbles and the meat Palau (excuse my spelling) but all in all awesome little restaurant well worth hunting out. Owner/barman is a GC.

Great night for Salsa dancing Saturday nights from 10pm to late cost for dance fee. 9pm Bachata classes which cost a little more. Awesome place to watch and see how to do it and then have a dance!
