The most wonderful 5 days. Fabulous family who run this B & B and the ability to also use their bikes is a great addition to their business. Would definitely stay again. There is nothing to fault and we will be back. The 3 of us stayed in the Heritage room which was clean and comfortable. Lots of little touches make this place special. The breakfasts are fabulous. Teresa makes lovely jams and granola. Great to be able to relax in the spa at the end of the day.

If you're looking for an experience with unspoit nature this hilltop beauty is your answer. Warm hospitality, quality farm tours, trekking opportunity and splendid views from your bedroom window...to die for. I'm going back!

What you can see in the photo that you can enjoy is far beyond from what we can do in person. Not worthy for a small party, can’t enjoy parties in here even inside bedroom, heaps of noise restrictions owners will be knocking on the door. We didn’t even use the pool, owner expect you to be quite even at 8pm cause of the flat mate, upstairs. I won’t be surprise if this comment will be deleted. This place is only for boomer ( no pun intended ) that sleeps early or make any noise.

Sehr sehr freundliche Gastgeber bei denen man sich sehr schnell wie zu Hause fühlt! Ich kann es absolut empfehlen hier ein oder mehrere Tage zu bleiben. Mit dem Zug (5 Minuten Fußweg) hat man sehr einfach und günstig die Möglichkeit nach Wellington zu fahren.

Awesome! I am truly grateful for living in this area; it never fails to recharge your mental and emotional batteries. My favourite spots are Princess Bay and Houghton Bay. I also do regularly patrol the area for garbage, and engage in cleanup activities during my free time as a way of giving back.

We stayed at The Reservation recently on our trip through the South Island and it became a highlight of our trip! The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a gorgeous view and farm animals penned nearby. The interior is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host Jayne was friendly, hard working, and accommodating! Breakfast was delicious! For any other celiac gluten free people out there - the host knows how to gluten free for Celiac and even has her own GF toaster! AMAZING!We highly recommend staying at The Reservation. We loved that place and hope to go back someday. ❤️I attached a photo of the view from the grounds and the pet deer, Hazel.

Really loved this place. Lovely couple who owned it were really helpful and offer up advice of where to eat or places of interest in the area. Lovely accommodations. Peaceful and quiet. Loved the two dogs who met us at the entrance. 5 stars!

If you are looking for a true JAFA experience then this is it. Place smells, untidy, dirty carpets, unfriendly host. Horrible.

Melissa is kind, and very warm welcoming!! Pool is great and the spa. And the view of the deck is brilliant!!
