Thai restaurant

Ordered 2 curries for takeout.Our Beef Massaman curry was great, ordered a Pork Jungle curry also. This was like a watery soup with a very strong fish flavour.I called to discuss with the team, there was no resolve and no explanation as to why a spicy pork vegetable curry tasted so intensely of fish.Perhaps the description of the curry on their website should be a fish based curry.If I had of known the curry was going to taste like fish soup I wouldn’t have ordered it.Disappointed in the customer service and no resolve.

A nice Thai restaurant that's one of the better ones I have been to in South Island. Had lunch, with a drink and the atmosphere is better than most, pleasant and not too noisy. The Pad Thai Prawns dish is good and had good quality Prawns. About three Prawns with the dish, which is a lunch special, and it was tasty. The staff are nice and attentive, without being overbearing. Happy to visit again.

My partner and myself both enjoy Thai food when we eat out it’s most often Thai, this has to be the worst Thai we have come across! Yellow curry was tasteless and lukewarm I asked for medium spice, was mild, $5 for a juice that was warm with a chunk of ice, meals came out at different times, small portions and not hot was not worth $12 wouldn’t go back again! Restaurant looked nice and in a awesome spot! But do not recommend it at all.

I had a divine meal here enjoying the best sweet and sour pork I've ever had. We had a donut for dessert which we ended up taking away, this was also divine even if there was too much vanilla custard. Shame about the service but there was a sign displayed in the restaurant warning us about the shortage of staff. I would definately go back.

Amazing food. It tastes absolutely delicious. Beautiful presentation as well. The interior of the restaurant is very nice. The staff is friendly, positive and helpful. I strongly recommend their De Grand Noodles. The prices are also reasonable. Nothing too expensive. I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you like Thai food.

Great value for money and always fresh ingredients! Veges are crunchy, duck and meats are always juicy and everything is so yum!The only things I wouldn't recommend is the tofu tord and the roti. The roti was homemade but small portion, hard and tough to chew. The tofu with peanut sauce is a little bit cardboardy because they slice it thinly and fry it but it goes super dry. The peanut sauce is Yum and it would be a really nice dish if they used cubed tofu or even puffed tofu.This is our go to place now when we want Thai food for the whole whānau.Pictured is a chicken pad thai, duck green curry and cashew chicken. All YUMMMM!

To all my Asian friends, this is NOT an authentic Asian restaurant. It's FUSION. Asian food with European twist. If you come looking for your homely taste, you're in the wrong place. Do try it if you're looking for some adventure and creativity. Personally I think it's okay because most of the food come with the same garnish. Pork belly is highly recommended and all the sauces are very well balanced. Lemongrass chicken like other reviews said, only has a very faint lemongrass taste to it. Ended up more like stir fry chicken..
