Beautiful Beach, lovely Sand.the water is a bit rough for swimming, not a beach I recommend for children to be on their own. Good for surfingthe Sunf club is very nice, Clean and fairly new.for non - New Zealanders I would say becareful driving, the road is very Windy. and bit bumpy

What a stroke of luck, we booked a 1:1 for our 10yr old daughter and we lucked in with Martin taking her out. He's so experienced, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and she had a ball! Teaching her not only how to surf but navigate the hot sand and most importantly checking out the surf and the rips before going in. See you in a few days!

With the WCC that have privatized and contracted out all the work and cant even fix core services if WCC say they are now doing Wrem\s stuff arent WREMO redundant?Why do WREMO(haha) get five stars feedback when they haven't dealt with or had the Wellington emergency( except the WCC that is an emergency in itself). Their earthquake brochures were wrong makes me think the 2 x 5 star feedback is from employees.

Impressive complex. The Surf Club should be allowed to serve meals if they so wish. The local cafe doesn't operate after 5pm & shouldn't have the monopoly on this busy beach area. There are enough customers to share.
