I was very disappointed with their shoes. I bought shoes for 299 NZD. I actually wore a hole in less than two months ago. Then I took it back and asked them to fix it. They actually charged me 50 NZD. I don't know about other goods, shoes are strongly recommended not to buy.

Great shop and the owner is very helpful. He does go away on selling trips/buying trips so pays to email or call ahead if out of town. Shop is a little hard to find as no big sign on the road side ( little sandwich board if open ). Well worth it. Bought quite a bit from here over the years. Recommended.

John Bull Footwear
Only worn a dozen times a year and the soles totally disintegrated. John Bull claim it was the high moisture level in the atmosphere of Canterbury that caused the soles to fail, despite the fact they advertise, strong moisture resistance, and that I never wore them enough. They refused to take any responsibility. They are like new to look at. Ripped off and very disappointed with there response.

I’ve been to these place few times. Felt the staff is rude to customers especially the lady. We were actually looking for clothes if that fits our kid but the staff came and rudely said “No size, Only have same size as sample “ Guys at least you could say it in a proper way. Learn some customer service. Don’t know how they manage to run the business. Better to visit other stores nearby, they at least know the customer service.

But underwhelming this time.We were looking for adult size fancy dress. Sure, lots of wigs and costumes high up on display. But .. where were they on the shelf. ??? Did not see any directions anywhere....
