Goldfish store

Was pretty friendly staff, it definitely smelt in the store but I suppose it is to be expected when housing rodents. But the rodents cage was dirty obviously doesn't get cleaned daily and they weren't friendly. One of the males even tried tried eat my finger although I don't hold that to him.They had alot of variety compared to other pet stores. Overall I felt a bit belittled by whom I can only guess was the owner or manager when talking facts about the reptiles and my interest in getting one. But I suppose it's their job to make sure you know what you are getting into.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced in a pet shop before was wanting to buy a frog lady told me I needed to provide a photo of my tank or pond before purchasing and that same applies for purchasing goldfish etc ild never ever heard this at any petshop before and had previously come here before and brought frogs and never had to provide photos before asked her since when did it come in you need to provide photos she said it's always been like that I asked her why there are nothing on tanks stating to provide photos and asked her for documentation regarding this which she couldn't provide she was so rude

Awesome shop, birds roaming free in the shop, lizards on display and good selection on small fish.

The girl was not very interested in chatting but the guy was helpful and nice.. went for 2 specific things and came home with 3 new fish and the 2 specific things lol. Cool to look at all the different cute animals and even interact with the birds..

female staff were lovely, knowledgeable and very helpful. Animals were well cared for and happy! Got to have a hold of one of the birds which was really cool! they had a good selection of birds items and other items! Would recommend here over big pet stores!

We walked in to the store and seeing a cage crammed of ringneck parrots. One of which had a lost a blood feather in its tail which was bleeding everywhere when a staff member stood at the counter rolling a cigarette, I informed him of the situation where he said it was nail polish…. Clearly bleeding heavily I strongly disagreed and suggested he looked properly. All birds in this cage look poorly. There was at least 8 in that cage. They had no room to spread their wings, and not caring for their wellbeing.A bird was stuck on the floor unable to get back to his cage as his wings are clipped. Staff didn’t care, just walked around him stuck.Guinea pigs crammed into small cages.Over all absolutely horrible, everything is covered in bird poo and dust. As a bird owner myself I understand birds make mess but your shop’s appearance is filthy. That’s days if filth.

Great pet shop! Went in to buy my daughter an axolotl and the guy that served me was really helpful and friendly and wasn’t judgemental about me not knowing what I needed. Had some awesome lizards and birds too! Would definitely go back for any pet needs

Immediately greeted upon walking in by two lovely staff members, both catered to my needs and asked about my dogs habits etc.A great place for someone who needs advice and knowledge, the owner was very generous with his time and informative as to what would suit my dog well. I had a great experience at this store.Being an out of towner I will definently make the effort to use petworld again. Thank you for restoring my faith in the 'Mom n Pop' style family run business. Will not hesitate to reccomend you to others.

Great range of birds and pet accessories. Minus a star for bored, uninterested counter staff who, even Mrs B. noticed, did not seem interested in selling anything. When I go back, it will be for the items on the shelves, not the service.
