Their kids section is really mint. Great range and really nice staff, who were very kind to my overly enthusiastic children. Really hard to stop them treating the place like a library and taking every book.

Excellent service today when Harriet, one of the Scorpio team, found a book I had been looking for and hand delivered it, dodging rain showers and Christmas shoppers. No doubt that this is the premier bookshop in the city with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Looking for a book? Start here. Support local. 1000 times better than shopping online (although they do that, too)

Wonderful book shop with a wide range of carefully chosen stock, staff go above and beyond to help you find what youre looking for. They have some good games and lovely gift cards too. I wouldn't think twice if I need a book or a gift card, it's got to be Scorpio!
