Custom tailor

Having your wedding dress custom made and hoping the dressmaker can realise your vision can be a pretty stressful experience! Vanessa really helped put myself and my mums nerves at ease, and created the most beautiful two piece wedding dress including creating the pattern and sewing the lace onto tulle for the top, and hand stitching on a billion beads and crystals! Not to mention creating the most luxurious sweeping train. From the moment we sat down together and I showed her a photo of something I was hoping to achieve, I knew I was in the best hands. She went to the ends of the earth to make something beautiful and I felt like a goddess on my wedding day. I've seen some of her couture work as well and it's insanely creative and amazing. She's even submitted work to World of Wearable Arts. I couldn't recommend Vanessa highly enough, I've had friends also have garments made by her, and I would definitely engage her for any more custom clothing in the future.

My Husband and I just got married and 2 weeks before the wedding, the suite shop we were using said they wouldn’t have our suits made on time, through word of mouth I found Taylor Made Suits and I couldn’t be anymore grateful. The lovely lady was very professional and spent a lot of time making sure we were happy with the fabrics and sizes etc. the suits arrived earlier than she said and she even drove to our house, after hours, to deliver the suit and make sure the fitting was correct. Claire's work is simply fantastic, being receptive to the client. She allows for discussion, sharing of ideas and is patient with questions. Claire offers beautiful explanation of the fabric she is working with. The process from beginning to end is superb. I continuously sing her praises, the products is a testament to her craft, attention to detail and absolute perfection. I have gifted the ties and the owners love these ties. I knew how good Vanessa was, I'd seen her work on another very particular bride (no offence Angie). I feel priviledge and honoured to have had my Wedding dress, my two daughters matchong outfits, my hubby and son matching waist coat and ties tailored by Vanessa - tied in perfectly. A creation from my mind came to real life and way beyond expectations, the way she got us working together to create something incredible.I gave Vanessa vintage lace I picked up from Trade Me and WOW what a beautiful creation fitting like a glove.
