Japanese steakhouse

Aprox $50-60 per set. A la carte menu also available. We had a set to share plus added crayfish tail. Everything cooked very well. Portions were large (we couldnt finish all of it). Great 1.5hr dinner experience!

A nice dining experience, friendly service staff with smiles. Food was not bad. My family and I had a pleasant experience there.

From start to finish it was a disaster! Only options were like banquet meals, could not order a main (meat, rice & veg) without the entree, appetizer, etc. We had to add side orders of meats, after ordering 5 appetisers to share. Salmon side was 2 very tiny pieces of salmon, Cost $22.00!! Scallop side $22 for 4. The staff were all very difficult to understand what we were requesting.The salads from our 2 banquet" meals did arrive at our table

Been here a few times, but tonight me and a mate sat grillside. The food was sooooo good, and while they're not huge portions, you certainly feel fall at the end. I don't know how the Teppanyaki Chefs do it - cooking infront of everyone, but damn they do a great job! Really enjoyed my time there.

Wonderful experience. Great entertainment of the chef cooking the food right in front of you. Food is delicious, and so is the warm sake. Really enjoyed it.

Family group of 8 and we had a fun dinner, our chef was entertaining and the younger kids in our group really enjoyed it. Plenty of choice on menu, yummy flavours

Food quality is above average. Good menu selections even if you don't want to have cook-in-front-of -you Teppanyaki.Handy location. Didn't have to wait long for the kitchen to cook our orders. Service is not friendly and not proactive. Try to get the Boss Ladys attention but she deliberately looked away in an very arrogant manner. The Lady manager with pony tail has no smiles at all and acted almost like customers are a bother to her. Most traditional Japanese reaturants have Mondays off so we kidda had no choice but to come to this place as it was the only Japanese food open today in CBD Hamilton. Wouldnt return again unless have to. You get better services from Macdonald staff in CentrePlace. Throughout the whole experience, the manager(guy) did smile and say thank you" to us and it was only when we were paying the bill."

Good food but service was slow.

Wasn't bad but has definitely changed over the years, less food/smaller portions, was still full when left though, chef was good.

Only serve teppanyaki during lunch while we are there. We choose fire meal, gourmet meal and sumo meal. Though expensive but worth the money, good quality food, comfortable environment and friendly chef. Will come back again if I pass by Hamilton next time.
