Vista point

The view was awesome. Although we went there during rainy days but the place was still very relaxing. The road condition was fine but you need to be very careful especially for new drivers as the road has a lot of blind curves.

Left Auckland and the first sunny day in a week! What a place, one of the best beaches I’ve been to! Black sand, huge beach, great lookouts, jaw dropping!

Piha is really nice and luckily it was a beautiful day in Auckland, roads out to Piha would be windy and lots of bends , but its expected considering it's location, I would advise to take care when driving out, when you arrive to Piha there is a very tiny look out area where you can stop, it's usually full but if you see a spot it's great for photos, wegot there just before dusk

Excellent spot for a stopover and picnic with access to disabled toilets. Just make sure you're well covered as it can get quite windy!

I'm happy. Saw a seal playing in the surf between river / sea right at Sunset Point. Less than 2 metres from the shoreline. Quite cool!Getting a photo is quite a different matter.Plane flying in low under the mist / fog. Now I've seen everything.

Great little view point facing the sunset. The waves are crazy so definitely don't swim, but you can get some amazing views of the sunset if you come at the right time.

Piha is a pleasant beach for a refreshing morning walk while being surrounded by the ocean waves conveying their positive energy into your life. Nearby attractions and services are available and are suitable for all choices and interests. Bit of mountainous road, but it's well maked and directive to reach your desired destination of Piha. It has more than one section or zone, so don't leave the place without having seen all the other nearby other sides of the beach. If you missed the morning coffee and home made muffins, you can always find your favorites in the nearby coffee shop opposite the post office. Have a great time and enjoy the experience.

This place has incredible sunsets. Very easy to get a scope of the stacking sunset across the water if you catch it at the right time.

Lovely spot all day through! It's great to see so many people along the beach admiring the sunset! Driftwood sculptures are wonderful! Rubbish bins and public toilets down there too!
