Cured ham bar

Nice Italian restaurant. Very busy when we were there and the staff did manage well considering. Food was delicious! Would recommend.

As usual, we ordered too much and had to finish it because everything was delicious. The cold meats platter had good variety and was paired perfectly with some pickles; the charred octopus had a smokey flavour, which was balanced with basil leaves; the seafood pasta was also quite good, but the beef tartare takes the cake here - just divine! The bartender made some mean as Aperol Spritz. Yum!

Pizza and pasta were really delicious!!Service was also good. Very friendly staff :)At first, I thought that the menu were little bit expensive. But after we have done our lunch, we have changed our mind. This is great restaurant at reasonable price.This is really Italian restaurant!!

We were visiting Mount Maunganui yesterday (18/02/2023) trying to get to Dixie Browns but it was so crowded on the beach that we could not get a park so we went back into town. We came across this restaurant which appealed to us immediately.My wife and I were greeted by the staff and they were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a margarita pizza (though it was called something else). Along with it, we requested garlic pizza bread, fries and two flat whites.The food was wonderfully prepared and tasted great. The quality was great and everything worked together so well and complimented one another.If we return to the area, this would be our first pick as we cannot be bothered searching high and low. Amazing job guys!

Honestly was an amazing experience. Staff and service was next level. Everyone we spoke to were so knowledgeable and helpful for all our questions!Food was amazing and drinks were next level.If you are looking for an overall amazing place I recommend coming here!

We ordered the lasagna and gnocchi. Instead of gnocchi i received cavatelli. Both sauces needed salt and the lasagna needed more tomato sauce. NZ restaurant scene is weak so maybe by NZ standards this could be a 4.

Had a lovely dinner at Alpino celebrating my husband’s birthday with friends. Service was great. We had Drew serving us (aka the “tall guy with the curly hair” referred to negatively in another review) and he was great! Created a lovely tailor made cocktail for me and even brought a little sample of the two liqueurs to see which one I preferred! The lamb shoulder was great as was the burrata, porchetta and big airy bread! It’s really nice when servers take time and put effort into listening what their customers want and deliver great service and good!

We accidentally booked a table for the following week, but the team sorted us out with a table on the spot (even though it was packed.) Food was great, service was great. And the music was spot on; nice vibe!

Service was bang on, could not be faulted.Great atmosphere and accommodating staff.We had a large selection of food and everything was cooked and seasoned well, standout dish was lamb.Wine selection was brilliant and served perfectly in short ridel glass.

A great little Italian. I went here a couple of years ago and popped back on a business trip for a Peroni and Pizza (well priced) the service was good and food great. I sat at an outside table - these are straight onto a side street with a glimpse view of the mount. The menu, wine list and inside of the restaurant look good for a romantic or special family meal as a little more expensive (please see pictures). Works well as a lunch time venu for pizzas for family. The wine menu is good but would benefit from a caraf of house wine to fit all budgets. Looking forward to going back next time I am in Tauranga.
