Great events centre i would recommend coming to events here! It was neat how all the upstairs grandstand seating was accessible and you could look over the crowd in the field below. Drinks line was moving fast and didnt have to wait around.

Had my wedding reception there many moons ago...Conference facilities are good. Plenty of parking.

Always a good day at the boxing day races. The organization was a little poor this year. Nothing major but considering the entry fees they should be better. Things like; the only coffee cart running out of cups at 11am and the bar specializing in champagne but not having any champagne flutes. If there is a group of you it is worth the extra entrance fee to get a table for ten at $500. It gives you shelter from the rain on a poor day and respite from the sun on a good one. It was less crowded this year so lots of parking.

floor was bendy. i want the names of the civil engineers who built ellerslie event centre. i was mildly worried about the floor caving in. but other than that loved the venue.

Overall a good venue, decent location for a show or expo with lots of room for exhibitors. The upstairs was extremely hot when we went, not sure if the air conditioning was broken or if it’s like that all the time (it was May so not the middle of summer!). Parts of it are looking a little aged and maybe in need of Reno’s, but still a nice place to come every now and then.

Nice conference space with excellent speakers. Can seat a couple hundred people when full and has good air conditioning to prevent the room from getting too stuffy when busy. Recommend for business functions.

Roskill ball was held here yesterday.Staff were unfriendly and asked everyone to vacate the venue at 11.30 - it was meant to finish at 12.00. So why people were asked to leave well before that time makes no sense.Once outside, under shelter waiting to be picked up by parents they were then told to go and wait outside the gate (in the rain with no shelter in gowns) What venue does that? Underwhelming experience for my girl!
