Went on a very quiet day at Little high, chch. 4 people each ordering from a different eatery. One ordered Mexican which was a mistake.Firstly the chicken quesadilla took 45 minutes, the rest of the table had eaten and finished. (We did follow up several times and each time was told 5 minutes) finally got the meal only to find it was wrong. There was no way we would order vegetarian. No apology from staff, one of them even indicated we gave the wrong order, and the constant ‘eyes rolling’ was uncalled for. They Offered to make another one correctly which we were told would take another 5 minutes. Based on that I’m unsure why the first one took 45 minutes. Would have preferred a refund but they wouldn’t entertain that. Finally received the correct order. Ended up leaving it there as it tasted horrible. Would not go back to this below parr Mexican restaurant. All the other places at Little high are terrific and have great food so go to them instead!!Such a let down.

The original is in Queenstown which I love. This one is a branch and not as great as the original. The menu appears to be the same but could be presented better. Pretty confusing if you don't know what you are looking for. The staff seem to change a lot. But I guess that is the industry. The food is tasty and in Queenstown they had a Brazilian option which I am not sure they offer. Never had a bad burrito but or bad food. Quality is good.

Great place, truly authentic coxinha, tamarindo juice and guaraná, typical Brazilian street food. The attention was excellent as well and if you have friends who don’t like this type of food they can always try one of the other restaurants in the same place.

I went to Little High eatery last night with 4 other people. I had never eaten at Caribe Latin Kitchen before, but the menu looked good so I decided to give it a go. Like a lot of the other reviews here.. the food was average and the service was terrible. The line was long and the staff were less than interested to be hasty taking orders. The guy making drinks kept interrupting the girl that was on the till, making it even slower than it already was. After I finally ordered (went with chicken chimichangas) I asked how long the wait would be and was told 25 minutes. There weren't actually that many people waiting for food, a lot of it was just drink orders, so I though surely it won't be THAT long. I went back to my table and everyone else had already ordered and received their food from other vendors. 25 minutes later my buzzer went off. I went back to collect my food and saw a sign that said you could pick how spicy you wanted it. I wasn't asked during my order, and therefore they went with the default option which is no spicy". It was bland

Great burritos, not truly authentic though. The coxinha was with too much cheese and little chicken, also bit oily. Service was impressive fast, and food tasted fresh. The atmosphere is like street food given the amount of other restaurant cramped in the same center. The vibe is casual and food court style but does not feel like it, probably because of the tables layout.

Good food, chimichanga was cheesy with leeks, and had lots of sauce on a bed of salad to make it feel less heavy! Staff are clearly feeling the pressure though

Food took an okay time to come out. Order two items and one was good and was okay. Food come out hot. Service was average and was nice to have once. Was relatively expensive.

It’s so sad when the place has the potential to be 5 stars, but it isn’t because of the customer service from one person! So disappointed with the guy who was in the counter and making drinks. He was so rude!I managed to take a breath and I still ordered their pasteles which were delicious!

Food tasted good but they cut the burritos in half which makes the large ones incredibly difficult to eat without them falling apart

We love the food here, absolutely delicious. They have so many options to try, depends what you are in the mood for! I like the vegetarian quesadilla with medium spice, partner gets the pulled beef one also with medium spice. They have sauces they also sell that you can add to the food also, I recommend the chipotle - good amount of spice. We return here regularly as it is so delicious with fresh veges and flavours.
