Was recommended the chips here, but was a bit disappointed. They appeared to be frozen chips as they were crinkle cut. They weren’t bad, but we’re not amazing either. The house-made aioli was very good however! The value here is really great as well. Everything is priced very reasonably. The store was run by a kind woman and what I presume to be her son, so was definitely happy to support this place. There’s a cool bridge you can walk across that is close by as well. Definitely worth stopping for lunch if you’re in Whananaki!

The fish was edible but the batter was really greasy. They had no sausages or hotdogs and the chips were cold and very greasy also, in all it tasted like it was all cooked in old oil. This Cafe used to be excellent so it was very disappointing.

Purchased some cute little sunglasses for my baby — they are gorgeous, practical and arrived really quickly. Rochelle took the time to write a personal note which I really appreciated and thought was a nice touch. Highly recommend this small business!

Worst fish & chips ever.Fish fillets were so thin, overcooked & inedible some parts.Chips were overcooked also.Informed them next day when we went back to shop & they weren't that interested. After spending over $40 on meal there was no offer of partial refund or half price coffees we went back to buy the next day. One girl said sorryWon't go back there :-(
