Biryani restaurant

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill, cool and the staff is also really friendly. Food was very good quality all around and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend the butter chicken burger.

Our regular, consistently good food - we typically get Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma and Samosas!

We had butter prawn 9/10 , malai kofta 8/10 , cheese garlic naan , kheema naan , alu paratha, mango lassi , gulab jamun and not forgetting mango ice cream WHAT A CHEAT MEAL DAY , definitely a place to visit if your in auckland . The staff was very helpful by picking our food and I appreciate the service. Thank you and hope to see you soon . EVERYONE PLEASE COME AND CHECK THIS PEOPLE OUT

The shop owners should actually try out their own foods, it doesn't tastes Indian food at all, definitely a LOT of room for improvement:-Lamb Briyani tastes very bland, too salty and doesn't tastes any spices at all, asked for extra spicy but doesn't taste any spiciness, meat is dry too;-Cheese Naan wasn't even cooked at the center;-Chicken Tandoori but it's not even roasted in tandoor but actually served in sizzling plate (really?);-Mango Lassi tastes terrible too, there's some weird after tastes.I'd been eating Indian foods my entire life, and this is one of the worst I had, hope that they will improve in future.

Iam a great cook myself and have travelled a lot and tried global cuisine, so my sense of food appreciation is a bit high on its yardstick.I was blown over by the food I had at Urban Masala....The food has the taste and feel of a homemade dish and the culinary display of a urban restaurant.Kiran served us and he is extremely courteous and pleasant ...Which simply adds on to the experience.I would recommend it to everyone who would love to eat good food .Some more options for beverages would be really welcomed.Looking forward to my next excuse to celebrate and splurge in to satiate the FOODIE in me.

Was recommended to come here by locals on the “Lazy Susan” page on Facebook and was not disappointed!Authentic food, all tasty and the service was great. Hosts explained the dishes and assisted us to chose the perfect dishes. Recommend the goat curry and the lamb sagwala..the mango dessert was such a palate cleanser and all handmade! We will be back!

Everything we've tried here has been delicious. The dishes are South Indian, so less familiar to us than the usual Indian restaurant options. The menu has good variety and the staff are all lovely. Recommended!

I have enjoyed this restaurants food for years but the new manager at the front desk seems to always get my order wrong, even though I order the same thing every time. I order very directly and by phone buy even tonight it was wrong. I've stopped using ur restaurant as much because this keeps happening with the same female manager. I hope this helps you to improve to the loyal customers you have
