Wallpaper installer

Hello, I don’t normally write a review about a company unless I thought it may help others decide on their decision making. We were looking for a new local painting company as our painter had moved away and can’t do ours anymore. We have a designer house and had Darran into quote from Regency painters. He sounded like a honest guy and promised he would be on the job with 1 other from start to finish as the house is high spec and he had to be there. Well when they did arrive a week after the original date he dropped 2 painters and then left. For a professional painter it was a simple job to paint a couple of walls and i bedroom. First day here they stayed a couple of hrs and then the next day 1 hr . I contacted Darren and let him know my concerns he said deal with the painter on-site which now no longer works for him. The quality of the work was embarrassing to Darran. They painted over hidden detail, drips on steel staircase, light switches u name it. They then left blind that needed fixing and Darran had to replace 3 light switches. There were patches on the walls where paint had been missed it was a complete disaster. They used water based paint over the oil finished door trims which Darran tried fixing and still not good so have another painting company that’s come highly recommended to fix everything up. This cost up $3.3k for what should of been finished to a high standard. We learned a big lesson out of this and we got miss sold on thinking the job would be in good hands. Darran I hope this review will help your company going forward as you said you didn’t want your reputation damaged but this kind of workmanship will damage your company as word of mouth is powerful in a small town.

We employed The Royel Decorators to paint the outside of the house, the roof and all the aluminium windows inside and out. They have done a superb job, always communicated well, completely understood what was required and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them.

We employed Jess and her team to paint our entire new build home, interior and exterior. They done a very high quality job and we were so happy with it! They were so responsive and got it done in a timely matter, as well as with a beautiful job. It's really hard to find good painters and we would recommend Jess and her team to anyone!

Darran of Regency Painters is a very personable and easy to get along with. We used his services for wallpaper installation. His work quality was good and we are getting him back for our next project.
