Dr Sharma and Anne were both amazing to me. Dr Sharma is thorough, knowledgeable, empathetic and funny. They were both proactive in my care, all options thoroughly explained. The practice is well organised, future appointments and tests are seamlessly arranged and my appointments all ran on time.

Dr Anil Sharma is the kindest and most understanding specialist I have ever been in the care of. Anil is one in a million and I recommend him to anyone in need of an excellent gynecologist and surgeon. He literally saved my life. Everything was handled with the utmost respect and gentleness in what was, for myself, my husband and kids, a pretty scary diagnosis. But Anil explained everything fully, and was reassuring and an anchor during turmoil. I feel like a gained a friend in the process and felt very emotional at my last visit knowing I may not see him again (which is a good thing if I don't need to). I never felt rushed at any of my appointments. He took the time to see how I was doing and what was going on in my life. In short, he cared.Anne is an integral part of his team and steady, friendly and efficient. She ensures that everyone feels welcomed into his rooms and sorts out everything required for hospital admissions and follow up appointments. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Anil Sharma and the lovely Anne for anyone in need of their expertise, empathy and great bedside manner!

Doctor has inappropriate sense of humor and she gives vibe of looking down on you. Notes all muddled up when I got them as well.

Sylvia delivered my first baby boy 25 years ago and then 2 years ago (when I was a much older Mum to be) delivered my little girl and just 9 weeks ago my baby boy. Dr Laloo is a rare gem among Christchurch doctors. I wholeheartedly recommend her to people who are used to medical care provided by highly professional doctors who have extensive medical knowledge combined with many years of experience. Dr Laloo’s surgery is equipped with both ultrasound and a gynecological chair - she can diagnose patients during their visits based on a thorough medical examination, which is a European standard I truly missed in NZ. She is a doctor who does not blindly follow procedures but uses her expertise to think outside the box, if needed. Because of all the above, Dr Laloo builds trust with her patients and you feel that you are in good hands. A cherry on the top is her warm personality and ability to see people, not patients or cases. She is polite in a way that does not involve distance and vagueness. During consultations, you can speak your mind and you do not need to read between lines when you listen to her explanations. She’s the whole package, and I am happy to have met her.

7 stars...not 5! Our 7 star rating of AOC came from the night of birth. We went into the hospital expecting a straight forward delivery but several very unexpected complications occurred. We went from an expectation that everything was straight forward and going to be a rapid delivery to a drawn out saga that had compounded complications along the way. Although we were scared and were feeling very helpless, we felt that the AOC team came together and did an absolute stunner of a management job of our delivery, provided very clear communication about what was happening and detailed how they could work to the best outcome for mother and baby. They worked swiftly as situations arose and I never once doubted their advice and actions. They rescued our situation and have given us the greatest gift. They are worth every cent and If I could give more stars I would.

I could not recommend high enough.I had previously been referred to a different surgeon but it didn’t feel right and I was concerned when they had told me I could only have the surgery by being opened up so I decided to search for another specialist for a second opinion- as soon as I met Dr Anil and Anne I knew I was in the very best hands ! I found my saviours! I had a hysterectomy via keyhole surgery and the surgery and recovery couldn’t have gone better ! Within 6 weeks of meeting Dr Anil, I had been completely cured from the pain from my Adenomyosis, that I put up with most of my entire adult life.Dr Anil Sharma’s bedside manner and aftercare was also incredible and I felt so well looked after. I recovered very quickly and all I have is a couple of tiny dots on my stomach. The nurses and hospital were also amazing !Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU !!! Your advice, kindness, experience and respect made all the difference to this mum of 4. You turned my surgery into a 2 night holiday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Highly Recommend seeing Olivia Smart, especially if you suffer with Endometriosis. I have had multiple surgeries with Olivia and each one of them have been fantastic. After multiple doctors told me my pain was just in my head Olivia really listens and understood what i was going through. She has done everything she can to help me.She also has a very welcoming energy and is one of the best doctors i have had. Couldn't recommend her enough.
