HB ITF Taekwon-Do NZ ITF
Myself and my now 8 year old daughter trained with Ben at the Hastings ITF club and gained our yellow belts. Ben is an amazing instructor who lives and breathes Taekwon Do. He donates all his spare time to the club and it’s students, always wanting them to perform to their best.He also works with and encourages special needs students to take part in the sport and is great that they are also inclusive in the mainstream classes, encouraging acceptance and support from all in the club.Ben has also opened a free community gym. This is available to anyone that wants to use it. It is in the same building that the Taekwon Do classes are held. There has been great support and sponsorship from many local businesses, allowing the gym to be very well equipped.Ben has a big heart and he will always support those who want to improve and do well. Hard work and training effort does not go unnoticed. Respect, integrity and self challenge are vital components to do well in life and are encouraged and supported at this club.

Krav Maga Global - Combat Defence- North Shore Auckland
I've been attending Krav Maga Global classes at the North Shore gym for over a year now with my teenage daughter. The classes are very well run and friendly. The training is top-notch, practical and loads of fun. I highly recommend the classes for anyone wanting to learn self-defence that will give them the best chance to keep themselves, and their family safe, should they ever find themselves in a situation where they're being threatened, including with a gun, knife or other weapon.
