Being a mechanic is probably worse than being a dentist I reckon. Which is why I’m taking the time to write a rare review. The 2 most notable things about Rocky Auto is firstly how thorough they all are, and secondly their very good customer service. From Damon right through to Liz and his team, they all show a good understanding of customer service. It’s an easily undervalued characteristic, but like dentists, mechanics rarely have good news, and it’s rarely free. So a good dollop of customer service goes a fair way. So do I recommend Rocky Auto to any of you looking for a good solid service station, operated by a skilled team who really seem to not only want to repair your vehicle, but to repair it well? Yes I do.

Absolutely amazing service and communication after dealing with complete incompetence in another mechanic , these guys got the job done within a day or two. Absolutely super happy with my service thank you!!

I took my 2010 Lexus GS460 to Brno for a performance upgrade to the ECU, only for him to find that the chip upgrade had already been done in Japan prior to importation.He could have claimed that he had done the work as no one would have been any the wiser! However he is obviously an honest businessman as he waived any charge and advised me that the required work had already been done and there would be no charge. Rarely these days do you find such honesty and responsibility. I would recommend Brno highly to any other person requiring similar work from him.

I came to Xtremetuning after a failed ECU remap by another provider on my Sprinter Motorhome. That experience showed that remapping can go badly wrong if not done by experts. I'm very happy with the result which increased power by 50kW and torque by 110Nm - the van is now a pleasure to drive with better tractability around town and easy highway cruising

I've been taking my vehicles to Damon for several years now and have always found his knowledge and integrity to be of the highest standard. I wouldn't consider taking my vehicles anywhere else.

Unfriendly, unhelpful, and a great reason to go somewhere else next time.In reply to your response.I am surprised at your response, when you called me to try to get me to change my review, I clearly explained to you that the review was written because I had used your garage on 3 occasions in the past and I had been treated the same way every time, as has my wife. My wife actually asked your member of staff if she had offended her in some way, she was that rude.I am not sure why you are portraying yourself as helping me in an emergency, you replaced a tyre on a trailer, there was no emergency.Instead of trying to buy positive reviews, perhaps you should focus on fixing your staffing issues.

From the start I was struck by the friendliness and professionalism of Andrew and the team. Excellent information around the process and expected results were provided over email which gave me a high level of confidence in the outcome. On the day of my tune I drove my Audi TT down to Xtremetuning and was happy to be offered a ride to work saving me an Uber fare. At the end of the day I picked up my car and the tune was well explained. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily so I didn't really get to test out the new power till a few days later, but when I did, I had a huge smile. I Highly recommend Xtremetuning.
