I came to the Christchurch Mens Centre for counseling during a particularly rough patch and had my first appointment a few weeks after I first contacted. The first appointment went well and we arranged to meet again a week later, however he never showed up.I waited outside for 45 minutes, rang the doorbell and knocked every 5 minutes or so but he never showed up. He never made contact with me again, even after I'd left a message asking why he hadn't shown up to the appointment.

Family action provided absolutely no support for me. They asked how I was coping and I told them about all the struggles I was facing and was told they couldn’t help me. Just wasted my time and caused unnecessary hurt

The best experience I had was finding Paul D. This gentleman is an absolute brilliant person to deal with. Nothing was a problem to him. I was having issues with my past re my sexual abuse from the age of seven to 21. Plus the work I did in funeral business. It all became to much for me to deal with on my own, I had thought of committing suicide. Then I found Paul D he got me the help I so needed. I can't speak more highly of him simply the best. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Go to them if you don't love your family. If you want Oranga tamariki and police, lawyers, courts involved this is the place to go otherwise stay away.

Do not donate to this company and help those in need yourself. Your money won’t go towards helping those struggling with abuse
